Myrspoven builds the arena where the real estate industry shapes its digital future
Fabege, Corem, Hemsö, Revelop, AMF and SISAB are the first to join Innovation Vault, an exclusive collaboration forum initiated by Myrspoven. Here, some of the industry’s leading players come together to drive innovation and shape the direction of the digital transition. The first meeting has already taken place, and the work is underway.
EU requirements for energy efficiency are tightening, while the real estate industry is undergoing a rapid digital transformation. There are many frameworks and guidelines, but far less clarity around which solutions actually work in practice, and which path property owners should take.
Sweden is characterized by vast and valuable building stock that cannot, and should not, be replaced. The challenge is not to start over, but to make what we already have smarter. Innovation Vault was created to provide a structured and secure environment where its members can jointly address these challenges through innovation and new solutions.
Buildings that do not measure, optimize and adapt risk falling behind. Not only in energy performance, but also in competitiveness, attractiveness and their ability to meet the demands of tenants, investors and regulators.
However, the transition is complex. There are no universal solutions, and although there are initiatives where experiences are shared, there is often a lack of structured and practical ways for the industry to learn from one another. This is the gap Innovation Vault is designed to fill.
“The demands on property owners have never been greater, from EU regulations to customer expectations, while the energy market is becoming increasingly complex. Buildings can act as flexible resources that contribute to a more renewable energy system, and digitalization is the key to unlocking that potential. Innovation Vault exists to help ideas become reality faster and more cost-effectively than if each actor were to act alone”
– Erica Eriksson, Project Manager, Myrspoven
From vision to practice
Innovation Vault is not just a vision on paper, the work is already in full swing. At the first joint meeting, Innovation Day, partners gathered to work hands-on with some of the industry’s most pressing challenges: how to optimize energy use and costs, where the real pitfalls of digitization lie, and which solutions actually deliver results in practice.
A central part of the approach is openness. In an industry where experiences are often kept within individual organizations, Innovations Vault aims to share both successes and failures.
The logic is simple: if one company already knows what does not work, others should not have to repeat the same mistakes. At the same time, the ambition is to build something more long-term, a network for partners who trust each other and who can drive development forward together. Not as competitors, but as co-creators of the industry’s future.
For Corem, joining Innovation Vault was a natural step in the company’s digitalization journey.
“For us, it is no longer just about energy optimization, but about creating a deeper understanding of how our buildings actually operate. These insights open up new opportunities for improved functionality and more efficient energy savings.
Innovation Vault gives us a unique opportunity to collaborate with other property owners, share experiences and create more standardized and scalable ways of working across the industry.”
– Kristian Karlsson, Technical Director, Corem
How Innovation Vault works
Innovation Vault is a collaboration forum exclusive to Myrspoven’s license holders. Partners meet regularly in structured sessions where challenges and ideas are discussed openly.
Myrspoven acts as the technical and analytical engine, turning shared insights into concrete solutions that are tested and implemented in participating properties.
This represents a shift from the traditional supplier relationship. Instead of receiving finished products, partners are actively involved in shaping them. The solutions developed within Innovation Vault are based on real needs in real property portfolios, not just assumptions.
Innovation Vault är ett samarbetsforum exklusivt för Myrspovens licensinnehavare.

An ambition to set a new direction
The ambition extends beyond individual buildings. The goal is for the companies within Innovation Vault to jointly help define what constitutes best practice in the Swedish real estate industry.
In the long term, there is also a broader opportunity: for Sweden to take a leading position in Europe in how the real estate sector drives digital transformation, not as a follower, but as a frontrunner. This is an ambition shared by the partners already involved.
“Technological development is moving very fast, and for us it is important not only to adapt, but to help shape the direction. Through Innovation Vault, we at Revelop want to collaborate with other property owners to shape the future of property technology and contribute to a more innovative and sustainable industry.”
– Sasha Fridman, Director PropTech & Digitalization, Revelop
In the end, it is about more than technology. It is about shaping the future of the real estate industry together, and Innovation Vault is the arena where that work takes place.
