Estea is taking a major step toward sustainability by installing Myrspoven’s AI-driven energy optimization system, myCoreAI, at Forskaren 1 in Lund. This advanced solution will help reduce energy consumption, cut costs, and shift energy use to off-peak times.
Myrspoven’s advanced AI solution, myCoreAI, is set to bring energy optimization to Forskaren 1, a research facility in Lund, Sweden. This AI system will manage the building’s heating, cooling, and ventilation by connecting to its control systems, while also considering external factors like weather conditions, energy tariffs, and indoor sensors measuring temperature, CO2, and humidity.
Estea’s collaboration with Myrspoven represents a forward-thinking approach to energy management in real estate. By leveraging AI, they’re not only saving costs but also contributing to broader environmental goals by reducing reliance on nonrenewable energy sources.

Located within Lund’s Knowledge Arc, Forskaren 1 is part of the larger life science cluster in the Öresund region, housing both lab and office space with Estea as owner. Myrspoven’s myCoreAI continuously learns how to best optimize the energy usage of Forskaren 1, sending real-time adjustments every 15 minutes to maintain an ideal indoor climate while using minimal energy.
